I had a delightful stay at Casa Amanzi. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Getsemani, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly helpful, quickly arranging transportation whenever I needed it.

Wished for better cleanliness.

The location at Casa Amanzi is unbeatable, just steps away from the best attractions. However, the experience was marred by several issues. The hot tub, which was supposed to be a highlight, was disappointingly cold and not enjoyable at all. Check-in was frustrating. we waited downstairs for a long time without being able to use the rooftop amenities. The noise level at night made it hard to get a good night's sleep. The shower had weak water pressure and was cold at times, making it uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a lack of basic amenities like soap in the lobby bathrooms. But, I have to shout out to Joyce and the breakfast ladies who were truly helpful and did brighten up the mornings. On a positive note, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, considering the other shortcomings.

The grilled fish at the nearby Vive Restaurante Bar was absolutely divine, and strolling to El Cabildo Gastromar for some local flavors was a culinary treat. The staff at Casa Amanzi were super friendly and always ready to assist, making us feel at home.

Additionally, the hot water didn’t work, and I ended up showering in freezing water. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel, and the lack of basic amenities only added to my frustration.

I stayed in a Double Room for 5 nights. The room itself wasn't great. it felt cramped and not super cozy. The shower pressure was weak at times, making it a bit frustrating. I did like that it was clean, but it just didn't feel like a nice relaxing space after a long day out.

It was just a nice choice for a flash visit in Cartagena with great value-to-price ratio. The staff were friendly and helped with local tips, guiding me to great nearby eateries. Arrive early for check-in to make the most of your time there.
